Sunday November 16 Morning

I have finally obtained access with my own computer to this site. My dear friend has been updating the site with my text messages sent to her, in between taking care of herself and her newborn beautiful little girl. Thank you Meggan for all of your help.

As far as Zach goes we had a smooth sailing day.They started to remove 50cc of extra fluid an hour starting last night. He is up 18L of fluid that accumulated prior to dialysis starting and we are now slowly starting to remove it. It will take approximately 15 days to remove all that extra fluid at that rate. he is almost at the setting required to come of the oscillating vent, so maybe tomorrow. The discussion may be putting in a trach. and switching to regular vent. Hct is staying up and INR went up to 1.66 today but LFT's continue to come down slowly, wbc remain steady at <.4 no increase or decrease. We are stable right now waiting the Storm out and for a turn in the road. He is fighting it with all his heart.
