Nov 13 2008: Evening

Zach's chemo is in along with 2 units of blood and 1 unit of platelets. WBC was down this am to 0.6 and tonight is 0.9. BABY STEPS! HCT up tonight as well. Vent settings have decreased throughout the day, blood pressure tonight was 138/67, HR 88 and oxygen sats 100% on vent with 70% oxygen. However Zach is still puffed like a marshmallow. My baby looks good tonight so I am going to try and sleep a wink as I haven't gotten much. And his dad is going to take watch for the night. Zach needs 24 hr encouragement to beat this thing and we will beat it down if it kills me. He has his whole life ahead of him and a great life at that!!!
