Zach had a peaceful night...huge blessing. Liver blood work is elevated more today. HCT and platelets decreased. Other organs are starting to swell (pancreas and spleen). Preliminary liver biopsy results are back from this morning test and they are pretty sure it is Epstin-Barr Virus which will slowly get better on it's own. Although they are not 100% they are still looking for other answers and will continue to do further testing. The doctors have discussed worst case scenario based on his trend in lad work today....Liver transplant was one of the things they discussed. I will digest this and get you more updates as they come.
