Nov 14 2008: Early Morning
We fianlly had a peaceful night for once and for that I am extremely thankful. Zach blood pressure held in the 140/60 with no pressers. Zach just finished another unit of platelets and will have labs drawn in about a hour to check his CBC. INR reamins stable at 1.2 and he looks really good today. Zach is also weaning himself off the osciltating vent. Lung x-rays yesterday look markedly better with costal margins present especially on his right lung. The left is still a little bit hazy but improved. No urine output last night so they removed his foley to prevent infection and now are straight cathing after bladder scans. Still no nutrition with a paralytic bowel. That will hopefully change soon when they wean him back to a regular vent. So pray for a great day and good news. Don't forget to sign your comeents so I can see who wrote the supportive message.

ReplyDeleteMy heart goes out to you & being a mother myself I truly can't imagine what you are going thru. I try to put myself in your place, but it is impossible. We are all praying so hard for God to give all of you courage & strength.
